The September 2019 IDC meeting was convened to review the activities carried out since the previous meeting on September 2018, discuss proposed next steps, and outline a plan of action for the next 12 months.

The meeting objectives were to:

  • Review the outputs from all work-streams and define a consensus position by the consortium, where necessary;
  • Determine the best approach to leverage the consortium for manufacturer negotiations; and
  • Refine priorities and draw up a plan of action for the next 12 months.

The expected outcome is: a consolidated consortium work plan and milestones for the next 12 months.

The presentations covered key topics such as all-inclusive pricing, updates on PEPFAR RFP, data systems, key performance indicators (KPIs), waste management, lab network optimization, and diagnostics integration, among other topics.
